It's May 31th, so it still counts!

Djeez, Alice is everywhere! Not that I mind so much. It's good that classic literature gets attention now and then. Perhaps this hype will cool down, but it shows that it's only a matter of time until this timeless story will be told again. It's the same with Peter Pan, Robin Hood and Treasure Island... all have different adaptations and are loved by many generations.

Wow, so much for my love for classic stories.

So I went to see "Alice" this month and was very surprised! I had some prejudgements (too modern, too creepy, too much action and too little smart conversations), and even though most of them came true, I can't say I was disappointed. This version is indeed very different from the original novel, still the characters were amazing and instantly loved! I like the Hatter most of all, next to the White Queen. My only remark would be that he was quite sane. He had his mad moments, but overall he acted pretty smart. This was not something bad, but I expected something completly different.

My own Wonderland is acting crazy lately and is making me as mad as a Hatter! Exams are near and summerpreparations have already begun. Wish I could finish more drawings and finally upload them! Grrr... Oh, and I officially quit my drawing classes. I figured I'm learning more from dA. Thanks guys!

p.s.: I got the DVD of the Princess and the Frog! It's so weird holding it in my hands and knowing I've looking forward to it all these months! It's like I can't believe it's finally here.
