HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!

Well it isn't even an Oktober journal, since it's the first of November. Truth to be told: I completely forgot about it!

So just a quick update

personal:
Disneyland was great (as expected), too bad it lasted only one day. We went with two families. Sometimes we split up to reunite a few hours later. It was fun. On the way home though, we got a bit lost. Near the border of Belgium, the GPS and the signs on the road didn't match anymore. It was the first time we travelled with that thing, I swear never again! We got home 4 hours later than planned.

After good luck September, we had bad luck oktober: everything broke! Well, not everything, but lots of stuff. A new fridge, new sink, new car, even a new pc. At least those problems are fixed permantly.

I celebrated Halloween with my 'scouting' this year. The children were so cute! I went as a broken porcelain doll (lots of fun make up!!), but no one had a clue what I was supposed to be They thought I was some sort of witch...

Art-related:

I cannot see another plant! In art-class we had to draw them over and over again. Fortunately, we moved on. We drew drapes and a bird. Not worth uploading though (they're too big for my scanner anyway). In November we'll start on portraits! Yay!

I'm working on a sort of project and a request. That's why I haven't uploaded anything new so far.

Other art-related news, in my next journal, which will be not be put up for at least another week. I'll be spending the next 10 days in Spain. We've been planning this holiday for a long time and now it's finally here, I am not in the mood for it. I worry to much about school.

Hi there! Only exciting news for this month!

First, my computer is fixed. Everything works as it should, so I am back submitting.

Secondly, I am officially going to an art school! Evening classes, twice a week, to combine it with my regular schoolwork. We are supposed to leave our work at school, but I hope I can take it home occasionally to show you guys how I am doing.

College doesn't start untill the 21st, so I have 2,5 free weeks left !

And, in case I haven't told you yet, I am going to Disneyland Paris this saturday! (5th of September).

Yay!

UPDATE: my fellow belgians probably already know this by now, so I'd like to tell this to all the other Deviants: WE HAVE FINALLY A DISNEY STORE!!!!! I recently discovered we had one by the seaside, but that's the other side of the country for me. Now I have one 15 minutes(!!!) from my home. It opened September the 5th (the day I went to Disneyland, coincidence?) Perhaps not so great news, because I am afraid I will spend lots of money there... Ah what am I talking about, this is SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS ! ! !

Hi there!

Good news and bad news.

Good news: I have my pc back and I still have all of my files.

Bad news: All my programs are gone and internet doesn't work. I am at a friend's house now.

This sucks, big time, since I can't finish my WIP's (I have to re-install photoshop and for some odd reason I can't), plus I can't upload my finished works. My bookmark is ready and I still have the photos of my self-made disneygame. I wanted to enter those photos for the "Try something new" project at . It's due 15th of August.

Okay, now to cheer things up: I turned 19 yesterday. Time flies, I remember typing "I won't grow up" in here. I still won't, but my first year as an adult wasn't so bad In fact, I discovered all the advantages. College gives me much more room to breathe, I got to vote and I have got my temporary driver's licence.
Compared to last year, I did nothing special. A few friends came over. We went swimming and had a sleepover. In the evening came some family. Oh, I got the Tinker Bell movie! My collection keeps expanding!

I want to go to artschool in September. Evening classes of course, to combine it with my regular school. More about that next month.

Okay, I was going to skip this journal but I can't help it. I must have a July in here I had some quick updates anyway.

First of all. My PC is acting crazy again. I had to bring him in so they could check what's wrong. I am typing this from my uncles computer.

Secondly, summercamp was great, exhausting, but great. I love children so much! The best thing about this is that I can be a little child myself. We made this disney game (of which I'll post photo's of as soon as my pc is back) and I could be a part of it. It was amazing.

New additions to my PP collection: the book "Fairydust and the Quest for the Egg" and the smaller book "The Trouble with Tink", both in Dutch. I like them very much.

I am working on little bits and pieces, but no real projects so far. I am still finishing the bookmarks. I can't seem to get them quite right.

Wow, the 19th of June. I bet this is a personnal record. I never updated a monthly journal this late!

Anyway, exams are over. I had my last one yesterday, now I just have to wait for my results. I'll get them in 10 days from now.
EDIT: I got my results and I passed on all my exams, except one, but I don't have to take that examaniation again.

In the meantime, it's all about the summer camp! I still have to do some preparations, and I already leave the first of July. The children will arrive the day after. I'll be back the 11th, meaning this journal will be uploaded late again.

Some more personnal updates:
I participated in a contest to win tickets for Disneyland Resort Paris. We had to collect stickers and the first 50.000 complete albums got a free ticket and the opportunity to buy extra tickets for a very good price. Guess what? I won! This means I'll be going to Disneyland again this year!! I think this is rather funny because we've been saying that 'this would be the last time' for the past 4 years. And I've been there 4 years in a row
Of course, this IS the very last time! *sarcastic laugh*

I've rented some books about the 20th century and how the family life changed throughout the years. Meaning: more scetches about the 1920's.

Last but not least: I'm working on something which involves digital inking, shading and a huge background! Yeah, I know, me doing backgrounds? Well, it's about time!
EDIT: I meant the Wendy piece "Once when I was a little girl"

Also, I'd like to thank all the people who've been favouriting(?) my work. I also got new watchers, and I just want to say that it means a lot to me. Don't forget to comment now and then. Because no matter how I appreciate the favs, I'm mostly here to learn.
